We promote different formats of events that enable citizen engagement in civic projects. Our favorite are hackathons and barcamps. We are sure that none in Russia knows how to organize such events better than us.

Open Data Hackathon

Open Data Hackathon is 2-days event during participants (programmers, designers, analytics, journalists, urbanists and other activists work together for creating prototypes of civic projects based on open data. This is annual event since 2012. Details you can find here.

CityCamp

CityCamp is unconference (barcamp) about cities and for cities. We investigate and discuss how to improve our cities, develop civic projects. Participants (like urbanists, journalists, scientists, programmers, etc) discuss problems and challenges of modern cities `and try to find solutions with technologies and new media. This is new, free and open format for all engaged people and citizen activists. It was invented in USA and now spread the world very fast (till Europe and Africa).
